Maria Garcia is a native New Yorker, and is proud to live and work in the Big Apple where media is king.  Currently, you can find Maria on the air at New York's FM News 101.9, but her extensive radio career includes stints at the legendary all-news 1010 WINS-AM, Florida's 97.3 The Coast FM, and she was honored to host mornings for 8 years at Long Island's 106.1 WBLI-FM on the award-winning "Steve and Maria Show."

A born performer, Maria is also currently on staff at New York's prestigious WNYW-TV FOX-5 News,
hosting the popular "City Rant" segment.  She encourages New Yorkers to rant their troubles away,
and laugh about how wacky life can sometimes be in the big City.
 
When she's not busy broadcasting to the masses, Maria also makes the rounds at book-signings
and appearances as the author of the hilarious book, "101 Ways To Torture Your Husband,"
(2009 Adams Media).

Maria's professional affiliations include The National Association of Professional Women,
and The New York Press Club.
